10th January 2012
In a stroke of pure genius, our local station seems to have aired a less than PG-13 edition of the nightly weather report.
When the CBC was contacted for a comment, all they could say was "Nobody could ever have seen that coming"

This [not just] in
Lil' kim has passed. Making 2012 possibly the last chance to see what a 1950's communist country is like.

WTF, Dave?
Look out folks, the terminators are here and their takeover is swiftly approaching (see video below)Please don't let their mild disposition and "Man, I really need to take a shit" walk, lull you into a false sense of security. (I guarantee it won't be anywhere near as entertaining as the zombie takover. You've all seen Shawn of the dead haven't you?)
11.11.11.11:11:11
It's that time again folks, after hearing everybody bitching about it today, you'd swear it wasn't happening in another 12 hours.
1st World Problems
In light of all the first world problems I seem to be having in my life, It's always nice to get a reality check that puts things into perspective. I'll post the link here and you can have a read for yourself.

This day in history
Today marks the 35th anniversary of the Cubana flight 455 that went down just off the west coast of Barbados.
The photo above is of just a few of the victims on that fateful flight.

Offended? if the cap fits.....
Apple users are a constant source of amusement here at the House of T. Often likened to a cult, and not the mundane, passive ones either. More akin to Jim Jones and the people's temple. As such, social network sites are abuzz with tributes and references to Steve Jobs and how great he was/is/will be for all of eternity as the people's leader.
Aside from the fact that a fellow human has passed and he deserves respect for his accomplishments, I can't see what all the fuss is about. I know general sentiment of this post may draw the ire of many an apple user, but, seriously, let's be logical about it.
May I, therefore, present to you the 7 signs that you're involved in a cult [courtesy of brokeassstuart further comments by the house of T];
1) Official, un-proveable yet meaningless claims about the “specialist”/”guru”/asshole guy that’s telling you what to do.
'Nuff said. I may get some hatemail for this one.
2) Dubiously Legit Titles
iCEO?!? seriously?
3) Wealth = Success = Your Ultimate Objective
Apple=hip[ster]=nouveau=d-bag= I pay myself only $1/annum per year to a) evade public salary scrutiny and b)bypass the legal loophole that I have to pay myself something to maintain my title. (Never mind I own enough shares to make me majority sharholder of a company that has more worth than the Uncle Sam)
4) Vague terminology and unnecessary euphemisms and/or acronyms
iMac, iTunes, iPad, iPod, iPoop? who cares? only a marketing department, surely, as well as those silly enough to fall for the bait of a name rather than proof.
5) Black and White
Mac or PC, one or the other, "but you can't have both apple users". This oldest trick in the marketing handbook. Don't believe me? ask any Pepsi drinker how they feel about Coke.
6) Why don’t you just tell me the name of feeling you’d like to see?
-----> there's an app for that.
7) Blatantly ripping off/re-appropriating aspects of other cultures to create mystique
Meh, this particular sign isn't really applicable to apple, however, I do have a problem with the presentation of "not-so-cutting-edge" technology in a shiny case being swallowed as the best thing since sunlight. (Japan is about to release a waterproof smartphone that will pwns the next 2 iphone releases and every other smartphone until 2015)
8) [House of T Bonus] Are you incapable of leaving?
"Y u no buys android??"
That said, want to know the house of T's 0.02c is on a tangible, valuable lesson that Mr. Jobs has taught us?
Cancer is a real problem, that affects everyone. And no amount of'
- money
- praying
- rama-dama-ding-dong-ing a person does
- try educating yourself about it to limit your risk factors or
- support your regional cancer research institute and actually do something rather than being the dumbass sitting behind a screen typing meaningless messages that the dead wont read/care about.
Arab Spring, Not just for Arabs P.2
Here's an interesting little story I stumbled upon, this may not seem so new in a few weeks, but there's a little publicised fact about a string of peaceful protests in the US happening right now and seem to be slowly gaining momentum across the country. the movement is currently going under the name 'Occupy Wall Street' and seems to be a manifestation of gen-Y's defiance to corporate greed.
Here's to hoping they can keep it legal and still achieve the objective.
**UPDATE**
Meanwhile over in Cali-Cali, more pressing issues are attended to, we see.

I gotta piss
"My money's in that office, right? If she start giving me some bullshit about it ain't there, and we got to go someplace else and get it, I'm gonna shoot you in the head then and there. Then I'm gonna shoot that bitch in the kneecaps, find out where my goddamn money is. She gonna tell me too. Hey, look at me when I'm talking to you, motherfucker. You listen: we go in there, and that n***a Winston or anybody else is in there, you the first motherfucker to get shot. You understand?"Pulp fiction was awesome.
